Nearly 60% voting in Phase 1 of Lok Sabha polls against 69.43% in 2019

Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections is underway in 102 seats spread across 21 states and Union Territories. The voter turnout till 6 pm was 59.71 per cent with the highest percentage in West Bengal at 77.57 per cent.
