US-Israel-Iran War Live Updates: Tensions in the Middle East escalated sharply on Saturday after Donald Trump warned Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, threatening severe consequences if it fails to comply. A 1,100-year-old dam, a dying reservoir and the slow erasure of Delhi's Aravallis

The 'lungs of Delhi' are no longer able to breathe. The biggest pollutants now are encroachment, illegal construction sites, and excessive human intervention in the biodiversity. The 2.5-billion-year-old Aravallis, including the five major ridges in Delhi, have never before seen such conditions. In its ground report, the India Today team witnessed the deteriorating state of Delhi's oldest dam and the Tomars waterworks.
