It may lack the pedigree of the top IIMs, but Symbiosis Institute of Business Management is certainly not a Johnny-come-lately to the BT’s annual B-school rankings. But SIBM is getting there. Functional heads, HR heads and young executives rate it on par with, and, in one or two cases, even above IIM-A, IIM-B and IIM-C in areas like teaching methodology, quality of placements, infrastructure and specialist units.
