Start Small

I am a first-generation entrepreneur. When I was planning the venture, my father advised me to start small. He cautioned against taking loans that would take many years to repay. His strategy was to earn and invest the profits to expand the business. I followed his advice.

My first salon was the verandah of my own house. I borrowed only Rs 35,000 from my father for setting it up. For advertising, I relied on word of mouth. Later, my clinic became the outlet for my products. In fact, I built my range of products based on customer feedback.
