Curfew continues in 9 districts of Valley after violence
Curfew on Monday remained clamped in nine districts of Jammu & Kashmir while it was relaxed in Bandipora and Handwara town of Kupwara.

Authorities moved in quickly to re-impose curfew in a few places in the Kashmir Valley Sunday after protests erupted against the state government's decision to give the Amarnath temple trust exclusive rights over a controversial piece of land during the two-month pilgrimage period.
 
Curfew relaxed in six districts of Kashmir valley
Authorities on Sunday relaxed curfew for varying periods in six of the ten districts of Kashmir valley. Curfew was eased for three hours in all parts of Srinagar from 9 am this morning, a police spokesman said.
 
J&K will be normal within 10 days: Narayanan
National Security Adviser M.K. Narayanan has said the government was hopeful of restoring normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir within seven to 10 days as he underlined the decision to divert land to a Hindu temple trust was a "mistake".
