When it comes to career and workplace, 63% of Indian men chose money as one of the two and another 45% chose future prospects.
For men working in high profile jobs and drawing high salaries, aspects such as brand names and workplace characteristics are spoken about with a great deal of reverence.
To vast majority, other aspects do not even come within the top two factors that are considered to evaluate their job. For instance, the brand name is relevant to only 11%.
The workplace challenges matter to only 20% Indian men, the job profile to 21% and
work environment to a respectable 39%.
It is what they earn or will earn from their jobs that remain more important to men than work environment or job profile or challenges offered in the job or the brand name.
Men and their workplaces integrate in a lifecycle that defines their present, their future and their dreams. Not surprisingly it is what they earn or will earn from their jobs that remain more important to them than work environment or job profile or challenges offered in the job or the brand name.
